I’m Wim, a photographer based in Hamburg, living with my wife and our two wonderfully chaotic kids.

Life at home is rarely quiet or perfect — and that’s probably where my way of seeing comes from. I’ve learned to notice the small moments, the in-between, and the kind of beauty that doesn’t need to be arranged. I’m drawn to places with character, to people who are present, and to situations that unfold naturally — kitchens, dining rooms, conversations, movement.

Moments that don’t ask for attention, but stay with you.

My work moves between food, people, and places, but it’s never really about any of those things alone. It’s about atmosphere, timing, and connection — creating images that feel honest, calm, and alive.
