I’m Wim, a photographer based in Hamburg, living with my wife and our two wonderfully chaotic kids.

Life at home is rarely quiet or perfect — and that’s probably where my way of seeing comes from. I’ve learned to notice the small moments, the in-between, and the kind of beauty that doesn’t need to be arranged.

I’m drawn to places with character, to people who are fully present, and to moments that unfold naturally. My work moves between dining and travel, but it’s never really about those things alone. It’s about atmosphere, timing, and connection — creating images that feel honest, calm, and alive.

Whether in a kitchen, around a table, or somewhere on the road, I’m interested in what lingers: gestures, light, movement, and the feeling of being there.

Moments that don’t ask for attention, but stay with you.
