Fort Bravo

Fort Bravo is an old western film set in the Tabernas desert in Andalusia. Whenever I am nearby, I drive out and wander through the wooden facades, sometimes with my son, sometimes with the whole family, sometimes alone. Everything here is staged, even the cowboys ride to a timetable. All I have to do is watch. Why this place grounds me like no other, I still don’t know.
